What’s inside our repair formula for women?
Have you ever looked at a list of ingredients and thought, “what is this and why am I taking it?” We know the feeling, which is why we’ve done extensive research when formulating our recovery supplements for women. REPAIR, for example, contains all nine essential amino acids to help muscles rebuild and recover. We also added coconut water, which is high in potassium — an electrolyte that works to regulate fluid balance (i.e., hydration) muscle contractions, and even nerve signals. Finally, antioxidants in the form of vitamins D, E, K, and C help replenish muscle breakdown caused by the oxidative stress from free radicals released both in and out of the gym. Isn’t science amazing?
Ingredients that mean something.
BCAAs: Branch-chain amino acids, or BCAAs for short, are the three essential amino acids that the body cannot produce on its own and therefore must be consumed through the foods we eat or the supplements, like REPAIR, that we take. BCAAs help to rebuild and strengthen muscles, as amino acids are considered to be the “building blocks of protein.”
Vitamins C, D, E, K: These antioxidant vitamins play an important role in promoting muscle recovery because they mitigate the oxidative damage and inflammation that free radicals cause after a workout.
Calcium: Most of us know that calcium is an essential mineral required for bone health, but it also helps with muscle movement and cardiovascular function.
Phosphorus: This mineral is the second most abundant mineral in the body after calcium, and is required for vital bodily functions like filtering waste and repairing tissue and cells.
Sodium: We lose a lot of sodium through our sweat when working out, so it’s important to replenish this mineral as it regulates the proper balance of water and minerals as well as muscle contractions.
Potassium: This electrolyte is known to help with muscle cramping — especially during long workouts — because it helps regulate blood pressure and water retention.
Coconut Water Powder: This ingredient is great for rehydrating after a workout as it contains electrolytes like magnesium and potassium that help with fluid balance, muscle contractions, and more.

FAQs
-
What does a recovery formula for women do?
Recovery drinks are designed to help your muscles rebuild, repair, and recover faster after any type of physical activity or exercise. Typically, a recovery formula will contain amino acids — the essential building blocks for muscles — to help your body replenish after a long day or intense workout.
-
What are BCAAs?
BCAAs, or branched-chain amino acids, consist of three essential amino acids: leucine, isoleucine, and valine. They are considered “essential” because they are the only amino acids that the body cannot produce on its own, and therefore must be consumed through your diet. Supplementing your food intake with REPAIR is a great way to get those amino acids, as our formula contains all three in BCAA form. Recovery drinks with BCAAs, like REPAIR, can help build muscle, decrease muscle soreness, and reduce body fatigue — all of which can help speed up recovery time.

What makes REPAIR the best muscle recovery for women?
Unlike other recovery formulas on the market, REPAIR is formulated specifically for a woman’s nutritional needs. Not only does REPAIR contain BCAAs, but it also has antioxidants that combat the free radicals that cause your muscles to go into an oxidative state post-workout. This ultimately promotes muscle recovery, which means you can get back to smashing your goals — and those glass ceilings — faster than before.

How do I take the REPAIR Strength & Recovery formula?
Our REPAIR Recovery Formula is easy to enjoy whether you’re at home, at the gym, or on-the-go. Simply stir into 8-12 ounces of cold water, or mix it into your favorite smoothie and drink with a straw. Available in two flavors (Blackberry Lemon and Mint Limeade), REPAIR is a tasty way to kick off your recovery.

Why does my recovery drink smell weird?
No, your supplement didn’t go bad — it’s just the BCAAs! They tend to have their own unique (some might say “unpleasant”) fragrance that’s just part of their makeup. If the odor bothers you, we suggest drinking REPAIR through a straw to avoid getting a noseful of the BCAAs’ scent. It might not smell like roses, but we promise it gets the job done!
