The Perfect Protein Glazed Donut Recipe!

The donut:
  • 2 scoops French Vanilla ESSENTIAL Protein Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda⁣⁣
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder⁣⁣
  • 1/2 cup almond meal
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup⁣⁣
  • 2 Tbsp. coconut oil⁣⁣
  • 3 large eggs - egg whites⁣⁣ only
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk⁣⁣
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt⁣⁣

The glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Add wet ingredients & mix until smooth and there are no dry lumps. Grease tray with coconut oil (We suggest a small amount on a paper towel and rubbing it in each donut spot). Bake for 12 mins then test with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, they're done!

Glaze:

In a medium bowl whisk together the powdered sugar, vanilla extract and salt. Add 1 tablespoon of milk, and whisk to combine. If the glaze is too thick, add additional milk half a teaspoon at a time until the glaze creates a constant ribbon from your whisk, but not thin enough that it can't be lifted.
