Peppermint Hot Chocolate with Protein Recipe (1 serving)
- 1 scoop ESSENTIAL Dark Chocolate Protein Powder
- 8 ounces Milk of Choice (can be non-dairy)
- 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
- Candy Cane x 2
- Whipped Cream
- 1 Small Ziploc Bag
Heat milk slowly on med-high heat until light simmer begins. Just before it simmers, begin to stir with a whisk.
While milk is heating, add 1 scoop of Dark Chocolate ESSENTIAL Protein and then 2 tbsp. of your milk of choice to the cup. Stir until dissolved. Place 1 candy candy in a Ziploc bag and smash until small pieces.
Lower heat. Add 2 tbsp. cocoa powder to the heated milk and stir continuously until dissolved. Remove from heat and pour into the cup. Add your second candy cane and stir until it begins melting, then let it rest.
Add whipped cream and top with candy cane pieces!
