Cinco De Mayo 7 Layer Vegetarian Dip (64g protein)
- 1 can refried beans (24g protein)
- 2 1/2 cups protein avocado spread (recipe here) (20g protein)
- 2 1/2 cups pico de gallo
- 2 1/2 cups sour cream
- 2 tbsp. taco seasoning
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- ESSENTIAL Unflavored Whey Protein (20g protein)
- 1 cup shredded Monterey jack
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cups sliced black olives
Instructions:
- Spread refried beans in an even layer in the bottom of your serving dish. Prepare avocado spread and layer on top of refried beans. Top with a layer of pico de gallo. Save about 1/2 cup pico for topping.
- In a medium bowl, stir together sour cream, taco seasoning, one scoop or ESSENTIAL unflavored, and lime juice. Spread in an even layer on top of the pico de gallo.
- Sprinkle Monterey jack and cheddar in an even layer over the sour cream.
- Top with a layer of shredded lettuce then add pico de gallo, and sliced black olives to dress.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
